Wesley Hastings

Wesley is a dedicated and mission-driven individual. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, concentrating in Crime and Criminal Justice, and a minor in Politics and International Affairs from Wake Forest University. Currently, she is channeling her passion for justice into a legal career focused on advocating for underserved communities. For the past year, she has been actively involved as a court advocate with a nonprofit in Brooklyn, where she has honed her skills in legal support and community engagement. This experience strengthened her commitment to fighting for justice and addressing systemic issues within the legal system. Wesley is very excited to bring her background and drive to Witness to Mass Incarceration. Through this internship, she aims to further her understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities and contribute meaningfully to efforts that promote equity and justice.
