Victoria Shepeluk

Victoria (who also goes by Tory) is a rising senior at UMass Amherst studying English and a self designed major entitled 'Social Health Inequities'. She has a deep passion for social justice, and her studies focus on the political, sociological, and economic reasons for health and social inequality. She is excited and honored to tell the stories of formerly incarcerated women and LGBTQ+ individuals through her upcoming work with Witness' journalism team.

Outside of the classroom, she is a tutor at the UMass Writing Center, and a co-manager of a student-run business called Earthfoods Cafe. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, painting, and exploring the outdoors.
