Keira Feng is a first-year English and Public Affairs student at the University of California, Los Angeles. Outside of the classroom, she writes for the Daily Bruin in an effort to uncover the truth and foster empathy and serves as a Communications Intern for USAID's global hunger and food security initiative, Feed the Future.
Keira's work focuses on the intersection between language and policy-making. After volunteering with Planned Parenthood and a shelter serving women of color, she recognized the relationship between minority communities and incarceration, as well as the need for community advocacy. Keira is honored to join the team as a Legal Clinic Coordinator and address the cyclical nature of the incarceration system.
