Jose “Javch” Venutolo

José “Javch” Venutolo is a freelance filmmaker based in New York City. Since 2008 he has worked as a Director, Producer, Editor, DIT, Videographer and Educator. He was born and raised in Venezuela and speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Italian. José teaches directing and editing at the New York Film Academy and has been an educator in video production and editing for The Manhattan Neighborhood Network, and Avenues: The World School as well. In his 12-year career José has worked on a range of video productions from narrative to commercial short and feature films, advertising, institutional videos, PSAs, documentaries, and music videos—frequently wearing many hats on a production.
