Semona Robel
Semona Robel is a third-year undergraduate student at Yale College majoring in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration and Sociology. She is passionate about social justice and is interested in studying the law and carceral violence, archiving and digital storytelling, and Africana studies and literature. In her future career, she aspires to work at the intersection of academia and social justice praxis for incarcerated people via legal advocacy. She could not be more excited than to contribute to the work being done at WITNESS. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and dancing, reading, spending time with loved ones, and exploring New Haven!
