Barrett Kanfer

Barrett Kanfer is a current Sophomore at Cornell University majoring in Human Development and double minoring in Law and Society as well as Business. Barrett is more than excited to join WITNESS with the Legal Clinic Team. Barrett is interested in the intersection between public health and law, specifically the public health issues that are prevalent within correctional facilities. Many of these public health issues stem from the sexual violence and lack of medical care within prison, which are issues that are addressed in WITNESS. Barrett hopes to gain knowledge and experience working on the Legal Clinic Team that she can bring to her University and eventually Law School to hopefully make an impact for victims of mass incarceration.
