Yichong Qiu

Yichong is a junior at Cornell University majoring in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies. She is an international student coming from Beijing, China. She is excited to become a part of the Witness family as a journalist intern. She is passionate about contributing to non-profit organizations and is willing to spread the stories of formerly incarcerated LGBTQ individuals in pursuit of social justice and equal human rights. As a journalist intern, she is looking forward to hearing different life stories and crafting them into articles to empower the LGBTQ community.
