Nicole Heyward

Nicole Heyward is a senior at Barnard College majoring in Economic and Social History from Peekskill, NY. She is excited to intern at Witness to Mass Incarceration in the Development department supporting fundraising efforts. She participates in a number of extracurricular activities, including Barnard’s Student Government Association, Student Health Outreach, and Design for America. Nicole has had various internships in both community outreach and development. Through her work experience and coursework, she has deepened her commitment to learning the historical causes of incarceration and working towards ending mass incarceration.
