Alexa is an Advanced Standing student at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. She will graduate this August 2022 with a Master of Social Work concentrated in Community Organization, Planning, and Development. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Alexa completed her undergraduate career at Binghamton University, where she received a Bachelor of Social Work with a Minor in Music. Alexa has a range of experience in organizational work, from working at a nonprofit with the aging population, to working at a school district with elementary-aged students, and beyond. She has a passion for providing equity and accessibility to underrepresented populations. Outside of social work, Alexa enjoys music and the arts, traveling, and is a huge foodie! She is very excited to be working at WITNESS where she can contribute to supporting justice-impacted and formerly incarcerated folks.
