Abby Joyce

Abby Joyce is a sophomore at UMass Amherst in the Commonwealth Honors College and is studying English with a Spanish minor, and is focusing on a Pre-Law track. She became interested in engaging with formally incarcerated individuals during her time in courses that require civic engagement components, and her experience writing for her high school and college newspapers. She is particularly interested in advocating for these individuals and larger systemic issues by bringing justice to them through representation and advocacy in the media.
